The treatment consists of:

Preparation: prime and strengthen your skin prior to the Cosmelan treatment. A high strength Vitamin C serum is used every morning for 2 weeks to strengthen the skin cells and to promote faster healing time. A Medik8 skin peel facial is then performed 2 weeks prior to the Cosmelan treatment to remove dead skin cells aiding penetration of the active Cosmelan mask to achieve optimal results.

In Salon: The Cosmelan treatment consists of a mask applied at our salon that remains on your face for 8 to 12 hours, depending on your skin’s condition. The mask is washed off at home and you may expect approximately 5 - 10 days of light to heavy peeling, redness, swelling and sensitivity. During the first week the skin will already show substantial improvement. Dark patches being treated will tend to diminish and simultaneously, the skin will start to show a brighter rejuvenated look.

At Home: When home care is followed correctly, full results will appear at 3 months after the treatment. The Cosmelan treatment includes a maintenance cream, moisturiser, high strength sun protection and anti-stress face mask to support the results achieved.
